J&K's sensational pacer Auqib Nabi Dar has been named to the India-A squad for the upcoming unofficial two-match Test series against Sri Lanka A, going to commence from 25 June 2026 at Galle International Stadium.

Clinches title, as DYSSO Anantnag concludes U-17 Zonal Level Kabbadi Tournament for Boys*

The District Youth Services and Sports office Anantnag concluded the Inter Zonal District Level U-17 Kabbadi Tournament with Zone Achabal's title Victory. The grand finale of the tournament was played at BHSS Bijbehara today on 05/6/2026 between Zone Achabal and Zone Bijbehara, in which Zone Achabal clinched the title and emerged as champion team of the tournament. In the tournament, 10 Zone level Kabbadi teams across the district participated with zeal and zest. In the competitions around 120 male Kabbadi players showcased their Skill and Sportsmanship. The tournament was organised District Youth Services and Sports office Anantnag with the aim to promote Kabbadi and foster Kabbadi talent of U-17 age group male students of the district.

Shines as Hussain XI Drubgam Storms into
Semifinals.

Aasif Mughal delivered a spectacular performance in the ongoing Sheri Muran Pulwama T20 Open Cricket Tournament.

The highly anticipated clash featured Al-Huda Interior Choice Matrigam going head-to-head against Hussain XI
Drubgam.

After winning the toss, Al-Huda Interior Choice elected to bat first and posted a challenging total of 187 runs in their allotted 20 overs.

In response, Hussain XI Drubgam endured a shaky start as their top order collapsed early in the chase. However, a crucial middle-order partnership between Junaid Dar and Danish Wani steadied the ship and kept the scoreboard ticking.The real drama unfolded toward the end when Aamir Lone and Aasif Mughal put together an explosive,match-winning partnership,Aasif Mughal anchored the chase brilliantly, smashing an unbeaten 43 runs and finished the match in a heroic way.
Thanks to Mughal's sensible yet aggressive innings, Hussain XI Drubgam successfully chased down the target and secured a well-deserved spot in the tournament's semifinals.

In the end Aasif Mughal was named Man of the Match for his sensational, match-winning knock.
