Similarly only one bowler ranks in the top 10 list of highest wicket takers.(Aditya Sarvate -40)

This shows how balanced both the teams have players of winning qualities.

Both teams first inning score where 170 & 146.

Vidharbha got Madhya Pradesh team for 252 in their first inning with MP leading by 82 runs.

Tamil Nadu had Mumbai in their grip with Mumbai railing at 106 for 7.

Ruled the civil line boundaries with Brillaint stroke play to score his maiden Ranji century 141 runs with 18 boundaries and 2 sixes.
He was the last batsmen to get out trying to score some quick runs for his team.

Madhya Pradesh looking to chase 321 had a brilliant partnership after losing the first inning centurion to a stupendous catch by Aditya Thakare off Aditya Sarvate.
Their second wicket partnership of 106 runs between Yash and Harsh gave a lot of hope to the team. But Yash Thakur had some other plans.
Getting Gawli out on crucial juncture of the game opened the flood gates of MP wickets which were shared by Sarvate and Wakhare.
The match was poised well for the last day with vidharbha needing 4 wickets and MP needing 93 runs to win.
Aditya thakare took first 2 wickets to draw the first blood on day 5 and then Yash Thakur finished the game by hitting the timber consistently.
Vidharbha won the game by 62 runs.

The second last games of Ranji were as interesting as the early 5 games.

Manipur has been the bonus team for group A teams.
Services made the most of it like other teams. Positioned 4 th in group A.
They were bundled out for 67 & 70 previous team was Vidharbha where they bundled out for 75 & 65.

J & K had a close encounter with Pondicherry where they etched out by 19 runs to take the cherry.
None of the teams reached 200 nor any batters reached triple figure.
The best thing about this game is J & K individual highest score in both the innings was 36 by Fazil Rashid (wk) in 2 nd inning batting at number 8.
Abid mustaq and Vanshaj Sharma to 5 fer each in both the innings.
They both accounted for the 20 Pondicherry wickets to win the game.

MP rolled over Baroda by an inning an 52 runs. Kulwant khejroliya took 2 & 5 wickets for MP. 26 points group D leading side.

Punjab again bundled out poorly against Gujarat giving them 6 points.
Gujarat won by 299 runs.19 points positioned 3rd on the table.

Railway again routed Goa by 63 runs specially due to Akash Pandey’s deliveries in both the innings. 4 scalp in first inning and 9 in second inning.
Again no one from both the teams reached the triple figure. Positioned 4 th in group C.

Saurahtra team displayed their guts and glory for being holders as champions twice in last 3 editions. DA Jadeja took 5 & 7 for his team.
They defeated Rajasthan by 218 runs,
AB kookna the bowler was the highest scorer for Rajasthan at no.9 with 44 score in both the innings. Saurashtra is well placed at no.3 in group A with last game against Manipur.

Andhra took first inning lead against Uttar Pradesh. Ricky Bhui lead his team with timely score of 94 & 129 for his team. Similarly KV Shashikant scores 72 and took a 5fer to bundle UP out for 198. Andhra stands at position 2 clearly with Mumbai to qualify for the KO phase.

Kerala defeated Bengal by 109 runs mainly due to the ever going skilled bowler in India for last few years.
Jalaj Saxena took 9 in first and 4 in second inning to give Kerala its top 3 position in Group B.

Maharashtra lost its 3 rd game of the season to Vidharbha at Gahunje,pune.
Due to brilliant performance by Aditya Thakare who scores his personal best score of 39 not out to build a 60 run last wicket partnership with Yash Thakur batting at number 11. POTM Thakare then got 5 fer in the 2nd ing to take his tally to 7 wickets in the match.
Earlier Karun Nair got his century 129 to help Vidharbha post a decent total on board. Vidharbha rests at number 1 in group A with last game against Haryana number 2 on table at their home turf.

Delhi beat Himachal by 76 runs at their own turf Dharamshala.
Siddhant 5 & 2 and Himanshu Chauhan 3 & 5 wickets.
Rishi Dhawan the lone fighter for HP scores 95 & 65 runs highest in both innings.Delhi is well placed at no.4 in group D with HP lurking at no.8 with not a single win in the tournament.

Tripura took first inning lead against Chandigarh. Manan Vohra the captain stood alone scoring 134 & 74. Arslan Khan scores 147 for UTCA in 2 nd inn.
Again Tripura’s highest score of 94 was scored by batter at number 8 by MB Mura singh. Tripura at no.5 and Chandigarh at no.7 in group C.

Tamil Nadu vs Karnataka had nail biting game ending in a draw.The game could have gone either way. Karnataka needed 2 wickets and TN needed 16 runs when the game was called off at the end of day 4. Devdutt Padikkal justified his test call by getting 151 & 36 highest in both the innings for KSCA. Ajith Ram for TN had 5 & 4 wickets to keep them on top. Karnataka took the first inning lead to top the table with 24 points closely followed
By Tamil Nadu with 22 points and same number of wins.

Mumbai escaped closely during Chattisgarh chase by a margin of 1 run due to Brillaint spell by Tushar Deshpande 5 fer to take the last wicket of CSCS skipper Amandeep Khare who took is team close but couldn’t cross the victory line. His 143 alone was the silver lining for his team. Ashish Chouhan earlier has taken 6 Mumbai wickets to restrict the domestic giants to 351.Mumbai at no.1 position and CSCS at 4.

Haryana defeated Jharkhand by an inning and 205 runs. JSCA struggling to reach 30 runs as top score in first inning and 60 runs in second innings.
Specially due to guile spell by Jayant Yadav the forgotten Indian player who took 10 wickets in this match 5 each in both the innings. RK Tewatia scoring the highest score of 144 for Haryana.
Playing their last game against the table topper on their home turf.

Uttarakhand beat Odisha by 162 runs skipper Jiwanjot singh contributing in both the innings with 90 & 74 runs.
D Dhapola got 3 & 5 in both the innings helping his team to collect 6 points in the game.

Assam and Bihar two bottom teams of group B played each other.
Assam won the game by 9 wickets.
Assam first ever win this season.

Plate group finals will be played by Hydrebad and Meghalaya from the 17 th of this month at Hydrebad.

League stage have just finished and some well known teams qualified for the KO in Rajkot starting from 9th December 2023.

Pre QF (Bengal v Gujarat, Kerala v Maharashtra) the other teams which qualified directly for QF are ( vidharbha v Karnatak, Tamil Nadu v Mumbai) the other 2 waiting the result of Pre QF are Rajasthan and Haryana.

It had an interesting end to the league as teams on top in their individual groups lost their last 2 games Stalwart Mumbai and upcoming young team vidharbha starting their journey with 5 wins in a row, finished their league games with back to back losses.

On the other hand Haryana and Rajasthan won all their league games.
