ANSAathletics óskar Einari Margeiri Ásgeirssyni til hamingju með frábæra frammistöðu á Evrópumótinu í sundi 2026, þar sem hann bætt persónuleg met sín í öllum þremur keppnisgreinum 50, 100 og 200 metra bringusundi 🚀

Einar Margeir sem er á íþróttastyrk hjá University of South Carolina stóð sig virkilega vel á sínum fyrsta vetri við skólann þar sem hann var valinn í úrvalshóp SEC deildarinnar af fyrsta árs nemendum í sundi ásamt því að komast á forsetalista skólans vegna námsárangurs 👏

Við hlökkum til að fylgjast með næsta vetri hjá Einari Margeiri og sendum stuðningskveðjur til Suður Karólínu 📈

ANSAathletics congratulates Einar Margeir Ásgeirsson on his outstanding performance at the 2026 European Swimming Championships, where he set new personal bests in all three of his events: the 50m, 100m, and 200m breaststroke 🚀

Einar Margeir, who holds a sports scholarship at the University of South Carolina, excelled during his first winter at the university; he was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team for swimming and also earned a place on the President’s List for academic achievement 👏

We look forward to following Einar Margeir’s progress next season and send our best wishes to South Carolina 📈

ANSAathletics óskar Elsu Maren Steinarsdóttur sem er á golfstyrk á Western Carolina University til hamingju með glæsilegan árangur á Íslandsmótinu í golfi 2026, þar sem hún sýndi frábæra spilamennsku allt mótið og tryggði sér annað sætið 🚀 Með frammistöðu sinni stimplaði Elsa Maren sig inn með fremstu kvenkylfingum landsins. 👏

Við óskum Elsu Maren velfarnaðar á nýju golfári við Western Carolina og hlökkum til að fylgjast með spilamennsku hennar á næsta tímabili 📈🏌️‍♀️

ANSAathletics teymið kynnir með stolti að efnilegi spjótkastarinn Elena Soffía Ómarsdóttir hefur samið við Florida International University (FIU) – risastóran Division I skóla í sólríku Miami 🌴😎

Elena hefur tryggt sér styrk og mun keppa í spjótkasti með track & field liði FIU. Aðalþjálfari liðsins er sjálfur fyrrverandi spjótkastari og sannkallaður spjótkast-nörd, sem þýðir að Elena fær fyrsta flokks, sérhæfða þjálfun – eitthvað sem alls ekki er sjálfgefið í bandarísku háskólakerfi þar sem spjótkastarar eru oft undir almennum „throws coach“.

FIU er staðsettur í Miami, með um 54.000 nemendur, öflugt íþróttaprógram og frábært umhverfi bæði akademískt og íþróttalega.

Við í ANSAathletics óskum Elenu Soffíu innilega til hamingju með þennan stóra áfanga og hlökkum til að fylgjast með henni vaxa og blómstra á alþjóðlegum vettvangi! 🚀

The ANSAathletics team is proud to announce that talented javelin thrower Elena Soffía Ómarsdóttir has committed to Florida International University (FIU), a major Division I university located in sunny Miami, Florida 🌴😎

Elena has earned a scholarship and will compete in javelin for FIU’s track & field team. Notably, the head coach is a former javelin thrower himself!

With approximately 54,000 students, FIU offers a strong academic foundation alongside a competitive athletic environment in one of the most vibrant cities in the U.S.

We at ANSAathletics congratulate Elena Soffía on this exciting milestone and look forward to following her journey in collegiate athletics abroad! 🌟
