We are incredibly proud to have been the organizers of the very first Italian stop of the Freeride World Tour Junior in the stunning setting of Alagna Valsesia.
It has been an amazing and rewarding experience—one that truly reflects our company values. Being at the beginning of a journey that, in the coming years, will help nurture young talents while also contributing to the growth of Valsesia is something that deeply excites us.
This is just the start.

Freeride starts early — and it’s already structured like the big leagues.
In the junior circuit, competitions are divided into multiple categories to ensure fair and progressive competition. Riders are grouped by age (U14, U16, U18), discipline (Ski or Snowboard), and gender (Men and Women).
This structure allows young athletes to grow step by step, competing against peers at the same level while developing their own style and confidence on the mountain.

In FWT, speed alone won’t win you the run.
On the Freeride World Tour, judges don’t care about how fast you reach the finish. What really matters is the line you choose — and how you ride it.
A bold, technical line can score huge, but only if you stay in control, keep it fluid, and execute cleanly. Charging straight down as fast as possible? That won’t cut it.
It’s all about smart decisions, creativity, and ex*****on from top to bottom.

Freeride isn’t about ticking boxes — and it’s definitely not just about throwing the biggest trick.
In the Freeride World Tour judging system, there’s no fixed rule that a jump scores higher than a trick. Everything comes down to how it’s executed and how it fits into your line. But the priorities are clear.
Judges score every run based on:
• Line
• Control
• Fluidity
• Technique
• Air & Style
So what really counts — big air or tricks?
👉 A massive jump:
– Boosts Air & Style
– Adds value to Line if it’s on a technical cliff
– Demands a clean landing → Control matters
👉 A trick (360, backflip, etc.):
– Elevates technique & Air & Style
– Only if it’s clean: amplitude, grab, control, landing
– If forced or out of place, it hurts fluidity and line.
