One of my favorite classes to teach is Corporate Yoga. It’s a joy to help teams pause, breath and reconnect before and in the middle of their busy day.

Hamstring Freedom Sequence

Deep Hip and Hamstring Stretch Sequence
1. Slow Cat-Cow – Move with your breath.
2. Downward Facing Dog – Walk feet back until heels just lift off the ground. Hold 30 sec–1 min. Let heels lower gradually as hamstrings release.
3. Standing Forward Fold – Keep a slight bend in the knees.
4. Low Lunge – Hands can reach up or rest on hips or blocks.
5. Low Lunge Twist – Lift one hand or place it on your hip. Keep shoulders relaxed.
6. Seated Forward Fold – Allow gravity to guide you forward. Elbows and shoulders relaxed; touching toes is not important.
7. Supine Hamstring Stretch – Keep shoulders and elbows relaxed. Knee can stay bent or extend.
8. Seated Pigeon – Slide foot forward or back on the floor to adjust intensity.
Bonus Tip: Keep your jaw relaxed. Your teeth should not touch. Tension in the jaw often spreads to the shoulders and the rest of the body.

Exciting news! We now have a new place to lay our mats! Mindful Body Fiesole will be opening on October 6, 2025 with a schedule full of movement, meditation, creativity, relaxation, connection and community.
