Day #40 and I would like to remind you all my friends that woman, life, freedom is a daily practice!
As a part of this yoga community, there has not been even one day that we haven't spoke about self care, self love, women's right and feminism. In all the retreats we had organized or I participated, conversation always included some topics about women who has to be strong and independent and support each other.
So let's do what we were always talking about, empowering women, who are bravely fighting for their rights. I believe even here in Europe/West ( any free country who believes in human/woman right) that you might feel independent and free woman, there are still lots of causes that we need to stand together to change them for our world, for our future. Never stop and say it has always been like this and we have no power to change. We together can make a change. Use the privilege you have for peacefully demanding more. Let's be a part of this chain for a better world and raise our voices for women in Iran as well.

"Flexibility Workshop"
This workshop is a two session program; Class one is focusing on stretching out the hip flexors and getting closer to front and middle splits, Class two is focusing on gaining strength and flexibility using back bends.
You can choose to participate in both or just one of the flexibility workshops.

Splits and stretching the hips
The full splits is a pose so many of us want to try, but it can feel so unachievable and hard to try and it may causes injuries if you practice unprepared. This class is a 90 minutes class that is designed to make you enjoy safe practices to achieve your splits or to get closer to it.
Everyone at any level can join this workshop and of course practice while listening to their body. We will also work on some breathing techniques that helps during the deep stretches and move mindfully through this practice.

Back bend workshop
Another challenging practice for many of us is the backbend! which can be quite emotionally and physically challenging as it’s opposite action of our everyday activities such as texting, driving, sitting at computers.
In this 90 minutes workshop you will learn how to use and integrate your muscles to keep you safe and strong in backbends. Starting with a simple warm up to get to know how to access the upper back and how to open the front of the body with care and then we will go deeper into your backbends.
Flexibility benefits:
If you are an athlete or just a desk-job person who rarely does any practice, at whatever level of flexibility you are, improving that can bring multiple benefits - not only to achieve crazy asana (yoga poses) like the wheel or full splits!
By practicing and improving flexibility, you improve mobility, posture, muscle coordination, reduces the risk of injuries and muscle soreness.
