We almost didn’t go for our run tonight.
It was one of those evenings where staying in just sounded better. We were both tired, it was dark, and the idea of saying “let’s just go tomorrow” felt completely fair. I know, I know, you’ve heard that one before.
But honestly, that’s why we got the BWILD Luminous Vest in the first place. It kind of removes one more reason not to go.
And once we were outside, it was fine. Better than fine actually.
We ended up talking the whole run, the streets were weirdly quiet, and seeing the glow of the vest in the dark just made the whole thing feel calmer somehow.
By the time we got back home, we both said the same thing:
Why do we always try to talk ourselves out of this?
….Because in the end, it felt easier than staying in ever would have been.
I think it’s safe to say we all struggle with motivation here and there right? But you know the ironic thing is, that I bet none of us has ever done what we needed to do and regretted it, with or without motivation. And that’s a large part of shaking our bodies and running itself.
But when I make sure I have my gear, BWILD vest laid out, it takes away half of that challenge in finding motivation since I see the motivation right in front of me.
Who could have thought that cycling at night could be fun 🤩
I used to worry about losing sight of my friends the second the roads got dark. One weak bike light and everyone disappears into the night 😅
Now the BWILD Luminous Vest basically turns your friends into moving lighthouses. Way easier to spot each other, way safer, and honestly… way more fun to ride at night. The dark should never stop the adventures 😍

We designed the BWILD Luminous Vest for running but moments like this reminded me it goes far beyond that!
That night, my helmet light was way too weak to see properly. Luckily James was wearing the vest ahead of me, and suddenly he became a moving lighthouse in the dark! Now we ride into the dark with confidence 😍✨
