During the last meeting of the ERASMUS + project “HIGH QUALITY OF ADULT EDUCATION - European exchange of experiences” held in Rome on 3 and 4 October 2017 Tito Livio Mongelli illustrated the results obtained from ACTWORK project as an example to follow for the methodology for teaching and learning to immigrants, refugees and young people with fewer opportunities to develop their social, civic skills and the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship especially targeted at the so-called "decent work"

"DIMITRA" Educational Organization successfully carried out, in Larissa, pilot training to improve the skills of young people, titled: Active Citizenship and Decent Work,
The program was followed by young people seeking a more effective integration into the labor market, as well as active participation in the current knowledge society. Participants were trained in Self-Knowledge and Job Finding, as well as on Citizenship, Initiative and Entrepreneurship Skills, based on the educational material developed by the partnership of the European ACTWORK program: "Active Citizen Participation and Decent work".

On Thursday 28 September 2017 the Educational Organization DIMITRA held a successful multiplier event. It welcomed practitioners from Educational and training authorities, VET providers, trade unions and employer’s organizations, supporting people with fewer opportunities. During the event they had the opportunity to get to know with the developed training material and the set of the innovative educational materials that have been developed by the partnership of the European ACTWORK program: "Active Citizen Participation and Decent work".

Today, Thursday, 28 September 2017, at 17.00, the Educational Organisation DIMITRA organises the Multiplier event in our head offices in Larissa, for the presentation of the ACT.Work Trainers’ methodological guide.

Educational and training authorities, VET providers, trade unions and employer’s organizations, supporting people with fewer opportunities, will have the opportunity to get to know with the developed training material and the set of the innovative educational materials that have been developed. It is a tool that decisively contributes to the education of youth adults with fewer opportunities on social and civic competences and entrepreneurial skills, as well as the step-by-step integration into the labor market.

The Czech ACTWORK multiplier event has just finished. It welcomed over 80 practitioners from NGOs, counselling services, state institutions, VET colleges and employers.
