A fantastic day of cricket at 𝐀𝐒𝐃 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐚 Stadium in Rome for the 16th edition of the KWICK Cricket Festival, organized under the patronage of the 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 💙

48 students from I.C. “T. Mommsen” and ex Carroll school took part in an exciting tournament focused on sport, teamwork and fair play. 👏

L’incontro rappresenta il primo passo di una collaborazione che punta a definire un percorso di integrazione del cricket nel contesto scolastico, con l’obiettivo di avvicinare sempre più ragazze e ragazzi a questo sport attraverso esperienze educative, motorie e inclusive.

Scuola e sport condividono una missione comune: creare opportunità, stimolare curiosità e accompagnare i giovani nella scoperta di nuove passioni.

Today, Extraordinary Commissioner Gianfranco Ravà and Secretary General Massimiliano Campo of the Italian Cricket Federation visited Parco della Vittoria Comprehensive Institute in Rome for a meeting with Principal 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗵𝗶𝗼.

The meeting marks the beginning of a collaboration aimed at introducing cricket into the school environment, helping more students discover and experience this sport through educational and inclusive activities.

A shared vision between education and sport to inspire new generations and expand the presence of cricket across Italy.

Yesterday, at the 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗻 headquarters in Bologna, a constructive meeting took place between 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗼 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗶 and 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗰𝗼̀, respectively 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 and 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 at 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗻, and the 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗼 𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗮̀, the 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿. A positive, future-oriented discussion that opens up new prospects for strengthening the synergy between 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗻 and the Federation, with the aim of supporting the growth of Italian cricket through shared projects, vision and collaboration.

Alla scuola 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗱𝗶 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗼 si è svolta la 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘇𝗮 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 del torneo di cricket, con la partecipazione di 𝟰𝟰 𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶 divisi in quattro squadre.

Un’esperienza di sport, condivisione e inclusione, nata dal 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘇𝘇𝗶 di Rolo, con il cricket come ponte per creare relazione e spirito di squadra.

A vincere è stata la squadra delle 𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗶, in una giornata arricchita dalla presenza di 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗸𝘂𝘀𝗵, capitano del 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, che ha arbitrato le partite, e di 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶, rappresentante della 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮-𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮.

The 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of the cricket tournament took place at 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗼, with 𝟰𝟰 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 divided into four teams.

A meaningful experience of sport, sharing and inclusion, born from the 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 of Rolo, with cricket as a bridge to build relationships and team spirit.

The 𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗶 team claimed the victory, in a special day attended by 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗸𝘂𝘀𝗵, captain of 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, who umpired the matches, and 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶, representative of 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮-𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮.
