European Universities Games 2026

At , we want to make football what it has always been: a universal language. A passion that goes far beyond competition.

Just imagine that a rudimentary ancestor of this game was practiced in China centuries before Christ, later appearing in central Mexico and also in ancient Rome.

Through variations born in medieval Europe, from the Florentine calcio storico to the games of Native Americans, its true history has always been about uniting communities.

The foundations of modern rules were definitively laid in the middle of the 19th century, in particular at Cambridge in 1848.

With the contemporary era, football has become a special way to connect different people from different countries.
