From Alghero to the heart of the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta in Cagliari ⛵️🌊

ASD Sport Compass proudly sailed with MINA from Alghero to Cagliari to experience one of the most exciting sailing events on the Road to Naples 2027. Over the waters of the Gulf of Angels, the world’s best teams competed in high-speed AC40 races, turning Cagliari into the international capital of sailing for an unforgettable week.

ASD Sport Compass hosted in Alghero the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of the "STEM Sports Education" project — a KA2 Cooperation Partnership in School Education co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme.

The event took place on 8th May 2026 in Alghero, Italy. Representatives from Belgium, Cyprus, Italy and Spain gathered to review the results and feedback from the Train-the-Trainer activity held in the previous days, and to work on the finalization of the STEM Sports toolkit — featuring more than 100 hands-on activities connecting real sport situations to science, technology, engineering and maths, designed for students aged 12–15, with a special focus on increasing girls' interest and participation in STEM.

Partners also planned the next steps of the project, including local workshops to pilot the methodology with teachers in each partner country and dissemination events to share the project results across Europe.

First insights from today’s “1st Institutes Tournament” in Tempio Pausania!

An inspiring morning of inclusive sport, participation, and shared experiences brought students together through badminton and parabadminton activities focused on respect, empathy, and teamwork. ♿💙

One of the most meaningful moments was experiencing wheelchair badminton firsthand — a powerful way to understand inclusion through sport and break down barriers together.

Thanks to everyone who took part and helped make today a true celebration of sport for all! 🙌
