Clearwater is hiring! We're seeking Winter Trainees who will assist with winter maintenance projects of our traditionally-rigged wooden sailing vessel. This entry-level, learning position is ideal for those interested in developing carpentry and shipwright skills.

We are also hiring an Onboard Program Coordinator for our 2026 education season, who will facilitate both onboard and onland programming, manage volunteers, and alternate weeks living communally onboard and onland.

Our pilot program, Bike Explorers, which aims to teach every 4th grader in Philadelphia to ride a bike, safely, has been chosen as a finalist for @thephiladelphiacitizen 's 9th annual Ideas We Should Scale Showcase! 🚲 ✴️ At the event, we will pitch a room full of funders and supporters about the impact we could have with additional funding to scale our work.
