"Never Fight A Man with a Perm!" The stitches you'll get will take you off the trails for a week!

Swapped out the soft, stock, street tread wheels on the ebike (great for smooth pavement) to a knobby set from a disused mountain bike that'd been takin' up space in the garage.

The wheels are roughly ½" wider, but there are no clearance issues and they took the stock tire inner tubes! I took the bike for a 100' dash down the road to get a feel for them,* and while I can obviously feel a significant difference in the treads,** having the extra space between any road hazards and my inner tubes is gonna bring a lil' peace o' mind.

I was even able to salvage some back-up parts from the disused bike as well!

*hey, I want my stitches to come out Monday in the surgeon's chair– not today on the pavement!

**the feeling went from a "vrrrrr!" to a "BRRRR!"

HOBBIT MODE Deagol style– I did not hook a big fish and find a ring, I caught the tiniest fish and look like I stepped out of a boxing ring. (Fish caught on 3" Heddon Boyo in Blue Herring)

Smoke from the Ontario wildfires is making being outdoors difficult– and haunting. I can't imagine what those closer are dealing with.
