I have been a little quiet lately. Crazy busy weeks of work and family life, coming straight after a wonderfully full summer, and suddenly it all felt like… a lot 💥🌪️
Maybe that is exactly why I am craving a return to rituals - back to the mat, to familiar spaces and familiar faces, back to the roots of why we practise in the first place.
Summer gave us so much - yoga on the beach and village greens, sunsets, bare feet, warm evenings, laughter and beautiful memories. I am ready for the shift now - for cosy indoor spaces where the weather does not dictate our plans, where we can close the door on the outside world for an hour, breathe, move, stretch, soften and come back to ourselves.
On Sunday we are back at The Studio Pam Toy at 9am for Stretch, Strengthen & Balance (this has not changed throughout the whole year!) - only a couple of spaces remain, followed by our fully booked Return to Self Yin & Restorative experience.
On Tuesday evening Nourishing Flow returns to St Martin’s Public Hall for a month before moving to Grouville, with spaces still available to book via the link in my bio 🧘♀️🧘♂️
There is much more brewing for this coming season - more yoga events, longer practices and collaborations, all with the intention of helping us reset, rebalance and find our core again, physically and emotionally.
Perhaps this is connected to why I have been quieter here too. I have lost some of my appetite for keeping up with social media - there is simply so much information, content and constant movement. These days I feel much more drawn to building connections in real life: the conversations before and after class, the energy in the room, the familiar faces and the wonderful vibe of our little community.
I will still share here, of course, but I am happy to let the trends and algorithms race ahead without me 😄 I would rather put that energy into what feels real and authentic 🙏
Perhaps that is what these little rituals are really about. We keep coming back - to the mat, to each other and, of course, back to ourselves ❤️

I think September asks for a different kind of movement 🍂🧘♀️🧘♂️🍂 After a summer of being outdoors, doing more, travelling, socialising, squeezing everything we can out of long days, suddenly life begins to settle back into its usual rhythm. And our bodies feel that shift too.
Nourishing Flow is the class I love teaching for exactly this reason. It is gentle and flowy, but there is purpose behind what we do —mobilising the spine, creating more freedom through shoulders and hips, stretching tired muscles, exploring balance, flexibility and strength, sometimes bringing in props and different ways of moving.
Nothing extreme. Nothing to prove. Just an hour of moving your body in ways that feel GOOD — while giving your mind somewhere softer to land.

NEW WORKSHOP 🍂 AUTUMN EQUINOX 🍂
The Seasonal Shift: Reset 🍁Realign 🍁Refocus
🗓 Saturday, 19 September 2026
⏰ 10 am – 12 pm
📍 The Studio (The Moorings Hotel, Gorey)
The Autumn Equinox is a natural turning point – a moment between seasons when the energy of summer begins to change and we start moving towards a different pace of life.
It is a perfect time to pause, look back at where we have been and consciously decide where we would like to go next.
AUTUMN EQUINOX: THE SEASONAL SHIFT is a two-hour practice combining slow flow, mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, reflection and intention setting.
Our yoga will be spacious and unhurried, using big, flowing movements with plenty of time to breathe, feel and reconnect with the body. We will gradually move towards stillness, using breathwork and meditation to help shift gears from the high energy of summer into a calmer, more grounded autumn rhythm.
There will also be time to reflect. What has the year brought so far? What is working? What needs to change? What would you like to give more of your time and energy to as we enter the final part of the year?
Not resolutions or pressure, just an opportunity to reset, realign and refocus.
Especially supportive if you feel:
– ready for a fresh start after summer
– pulled in too many directions or moving on autopilot
– curious about where you want to place your energy next
– ready to reconnect with routines and priorities that matter to you
– drawn to using the change of season as a moment to pause and refocus
ONLY 3 spaces left!
Suitable for all levels. No experience needed, curiosity encouraged.

This Sunday could well be our last beach yoga of the 2026 The Island Yoga Project season. With quite a stretch of rain on the horizon, tomorrow is giving us one more beautiful summer morning - sunshine, warmth and that gorgeous sea view 🌊
So let us make the most of it. A mellow, gentle flow on the sand, moving and breathing, reconnecting with ourselves and simply enjoying being outside together. And if it does turn out to be our last one, let us make it a beautiful summer memory ❤️
