It’s been 15 years but it is like yesterday

The 2020 National Basketball League is slated to begin on February 1st with 12 teams competing in the super 12 round. Preliminary Round
12 teams divided into 2 zones of 6 teams. They play each other once within their respective zone. Top 4 teams from each zone advanced to the quarterfinal round. Top team from each zone play the Midseason final. The 5th and 6th placed teams from each zone playoff in a cross zone matchup for the the relegation spot. Losers will be relegated

Quarterfinal Round
The 1st and 3rd placed teams cross zones to form 2 zones of 4 teams.
The teams playes each other once within their respective zones. The top 2 teams advanced to the Semifinal round.

Semifinal Round
The 1st and 2nd placed teams cross zone to matchup in a single game knockout match. The winners advanced to the Finals. The losers advance to the 3rd placed playoff.

Finals
Best of 3 games . Winner of 2 matches crowned Champion.

The 3rd placed is a single game matchup.
