Ashley Ferguson came to Liguanea Chess Club for five years. Her mother would arrive every Saturday on time for our 10:30 am session. She became a very good player. She was also involved in our critical thinking program. Ashley went to Campion High and secured 9 ones in her CXCs at 16 years old. She was also playing chess for Jamaica at that age. Yale interviewed her and gave her a full scholarship. Ashley is now at NYU law school.
