Today got the upper hand on earth's gravitational pull to propel 622lbs(282kg) from the ground to a fully a stacked and complete lockout motivating all referees to give him three white lights.

This attempt was about 3.8 times his body weight of 165lbs which resulted in a gl point score of 41.15 points.

Okerie is not built like the typical 83kg powerlifter he is tall and slender with a measly BMI of 23.

Most powerlifters of similar weight to Okerie are 4-6 inches shorter than he is with shorter levers and more muscular mass confined to a shorter skeletal area.

This makes his attempts even more impressive as you need to apply more muscular effort with longer limbs to lift the same load as your shorter counterparts.

Fusionfitness is happy that three athletes from the gym were able to fly to Arizona and represent the country in the NAPF powerlifting championship.

Some of the strongest men and women in Jamaica from all parishes will come together on the 11th of February to show case there strength in pursuit of determinating who has the strongest squat in Jamaica at this time.

This is the first time in history where athletes will have an opportunity to gain monetarily from a local meet.
