I think a lot of people are walking around feeling quietly disappointed by the life they worked so hard to build.

Not because their life is bad.
Not because they failed.

But because nobody prepared us for how emotionally exhausting modern adulthood would become.

The pressure.
The responsibility.
The mental load.
The constant thinking.
The overstimulation.
The performance of holding everything together while trying not to completely lose yourself inside all of it.

And honestly?

I don’t think enough people are talking about this.

So I guess I am now.
