WHY TRAVELLING OFF SEASON MAKES SENSE 🧳✈️
There are times of year when everyone seems to flock to certain places - such as Italy in July, or Thailand in February. But when we all travel to the same places at the same time, we put a big strain on that destination.

Travelling in the low season is more sustainable for two reasons:
💚It takes some of the environmental impact off the high season, because people and resource use are more evenly distributed
💚It gives local tourism workers a more stable income, spreading the income from tourism over a larger portion of the year

Planning your trip during the low season also has benefits for you as a traveller. Prices are cheaper, so you can do more for less. And the smaller crowds make sightseeing a much more pleasant experience! Have you been anywhere off season?

Which famous explorers do you know? Usually, the names we think of belong to men. As is often the case, female pioneers are less talked about than their male counterparts when it comes to travel.

Calling all animals lovers!
Join us on our 12-day trip around Sri Lanka, where we watch baby sea turtles! On our Sri Lanka trip, we’ve planned a beach excursion. If you’re lucky, you might spot some baby turtles make their way into the sea for the first time!

November to May is the turtle hatching season in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, sea turtles are an endangered species. But there are also several hatcheries and conservation projects around the country set up to protect the beautiful creatures. See you there? 🐢🤗🥹
