髪の毛を描く作業では、正直心が折れそうになりながらも、景子先生の温かいご指導と寄り添いのおかげで、最後までやり遂げることができました。本当に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
苦労した分、世界にたった一つだけの、愛着のある「酒神」に出会うことができました。一生の宝物です。

「身の華」｜ 2026 桂勘京都舞踏工作坊

一场剥离社会化外衣、向内挖掘肉体神话之旅。

2026年盛夏，世界级舞踏大师桂勘将在京都 Studio DU 亲自开启两期的深度身体工作坊——「身の華」。
在这里，我们跟随桂勘老师，去探索肉体的衰亡与新生、引力与悬浮、以及东方身体美学中深邃的微观宇宙。无论你是舞者、演员、身体探索者，还是渴望重新连结身心的普通人，这都将是一次颠覆感官的生命体验。

Let the body become a flower—gazing from the darkness, blooming within the void.
It is a journey of stripping away the layers of social conditioning to excavate the deeply rooted myths of the flesh.
This midsummer, world-renowned Butoh master Katsura Kan will host a two-part intensive somatic workshop, ”Mino-Hana“ (身の華), at Studio DU in Kyoto.

Under the guidance of Katsura Kan, we will delve into the decay and rebirth of the physical form, the play between gravity and suspension, and the profound micro-universe of Eastern body aesthetics. Whether you are a dancer, an actor, a somatic explorer, or someone longing to reconnect mind and body, this experience will offer a profound shift in sensory perception.

ここには、線的な時間の流れなど存在しない。それは無限に引き伸ばされ、濃縮され、やがて能面の奥にある、あの深遠な眼差しの中へと凝縮されていく。

Inspired by the imagery of the Japanese avant-garde art form “Butoh,” this workshop aims not to imitate specific forms, but to dissolve the boundaries between styles and unlock a freer form of physical expression. It will be a delightful and indulgent experience where everyone—from beginners to experienced practitioners—can discover “their own body language.”Experience a “complete escape” for both soul and body.Three days of quiet reflection will crystallize into a private dance piece that belongs solely to you. Infuse your body with a unique and irreplaceable spirit.

Hirota Yukitoshi
Born in 1957, he is the eldest son of Heiichi Hirota. He studied under Iwao Kongo (the 25th Grandmaster of the Kongo School), Hisanori Kongo (the 26th Grandmaster), and his father.

He is the director of The Nohgaku Performers‘ Association (Public Interest Incorporated Association), and the Director of Kongo-kai.

Key Awards & Honors:
1999: Kyoto City New Artist Prize.
2006: Agency for Cultural Affairs National Arts Festival New Artist Award.
2020: Kyoto Prefecture Cultural Award for Distinguished Service.
He is the leader and director of the ”Hirota Kanshokai“ and ”Ryounsha“.
