One of the best things to see lately is how much some members have improved since first picking up badminton with KGS. As their badminton has grown, so have the friendships and connections around the community 😊🏸🌏

20 players came together for another Saturday session at Kyoto Terrsa, including two guests visiting from Canada 🇨🇦🏸

Unfortunately, Souvik got injured during the session, but it was great to see everyone looking out for each other and helping when needed 🙏

Despite the unexpected moment, there were plenty of good rallies, smiles, and conversations throughout the afternoon. Thanks everyone for joining, helping out, and making it another great time together 💛

We welcomed another three new players this time, while also saying “see you for now” to Karl 😊🏸

It means a lot that members leaving Kyoto often say they already want to come back and play with KGS again. People may move on, but the connections stay, and the community keeps reaching further 🌏

With new people joining and others planning to return, I’m excited to see how far KGS can grow over the next year and what we can create together. See you again soon, Karl! 👋😄

One of the nicest things about seeing KGS grow is that so much of it happens through word of mouth and personal connections. Members invite friends, those friends meet more people, and our badminton community keeps growing naturally 🌏🏸

Another evening of badminton with a great mix of players, including first-timers Souvik from India 🇮🇳 and Matt from Scotland 🏴🌏

Our levels may vary, but one of the things I appreciate about KGS is how everyone helps create enjoyable games together, whether by adapting, encouraging each other, or simply bringing a positive attitude to the court 😊🏸
