Today I say goodbye to my amazing daughter, Chrystal Mitsuko Williams Davenport.
It is an incredibly surreal experience. I don’t think the reality has really hit me yet.
Chrystal was born in Okinawa, Japan 21 June 1985. She was driven and focused graduating High School at 16 yrs old. Starting college at 17 was tough. I remember her calling and telling me she couldn’t even rent a movie at Blockbuster because she wasn’t 18🤦♂️.
She loved video games, nature, dogs and the color green.
She has been happily married to Trent Davenport for the past 19 years. He has been a loving, kind and very wonderful husband. I never had to worry about her because she had him.
She was my first born and made me a proud father. She went to Japanese preschool and spoke Japanese.
It was funny when her school would call she would speak to them in Japanese then tell me what they said in English at only 5 yrs old.
My heart is broken but I have so many good memories of our lives together.
I pray God has his arms wrapped around her for me and will watch over her new born son Elijah for the rest of his life.
Thank you to each and everyone of you that have reached out and supported my family during this most difficult time. It is truly a blessing to know you care and it has been uplifting to read your messages and hear your voices.
God bless❤️
