Osaka WildCats FC was founded in 2008 by Mickael Vitiello and Lionel Piguet under the name of Dragonfly Osaka FC. It was renamed Osaka WildCats FC in 2013.

The club home's colours were bordeaux and orange until late 2013 before it changed to black and sky blue and was renamed Osaka WildCats FC by co-founder Lionel Piguet and Yon Gu. Osaka WildCats FC is based in the northern part of Osaka City where the club holds its training sessions. Osaka WildCats FC's goals are to open a kids' football school by the end of 2014 and to build a strong team to challenge at a good level.

The PEACE MATCH Hiroshima v Nagasaki, Aug,11, 2018 13/08/2018

The Peace Match - the Peace Derby - whatever the name, the meaning was heard around the world and here we present the pictures - taken by Lionel Piguet - of the pre-match ceremony and the fans.
A full article will appear in the next issue of JSoccer Magazine (pre-order by messaging me or commenting!) but a little background on the ceremony from Lionel himself;

Featured are the mayors of each cities, along with representatives of the survivors from both areas. University students from each city delivered speeches and rang the bell, twice.
The cranes are a symbol of peace, and legend says that folding 1000 of them will give a recovery from illness. Much more on that in the magazine.

On the shirts of V-Varen Nagasaki the numbers are in the purple of Sanfrecce Hiroshima, and 89 is to represent to represent August 9th, the day that Nagasaki was bombed. On Sanfrecce's shirts there are orange numbers - for V-Varen - and the 86 represents August 6th, the date that "Big Boy" was dropped from a plane named Enola Gay, destroying Hiroshima.

May the world never see the like again!

Dear friends, with JSoccer and KRAC, we would like to organise a mini indoor football World Cup in Kobe (4vs4), we will organise it during the World Cup this summer and would like to invite up to 8 teams (6 all good too). We haven’t discussed about the price yet but it won’t be much, it will include around 5 to 7 matches plus the real WC on tv) we would like to make national teams (England, Taiwan, France, Japan etc...) How is interested?

We have futsal this Sunday from 15:00 to 17:00 in Daiei (Sannomiya Kobe), it's mix futsal with both men and women, we'll share the price between all players which means it should be less than 2000.

Dear friends around the world

As you surely know, Tainan (in the southern part of Taiwan) was hit by an earthquake on February 6th. Many people lost their homes and people are now in desperate need of help. Taiwan is the country in Asia that donated the most to Japan after the 3.11 earthquake in Tohoku, and now JSoccer Magazine would like to return that kindness by donating money to Tainan City Government Bureau of Social Affairs to assist in earthquake relief.

Alan (JSoccer editor) and myself (regular contributor and Taiwan correspondent) have made arrangements to ensure that ALL future sales of issue 18 of JSoccer Magazine (which includes my article on football in Taiwan), will be donated to the Tainan City Government Bureau of Social Affairs to support those in need.

You can purchase the magazine from as little as 300 yen (100 NTD) or pay as much as you want, literally - ALL income after postage costs will go to the fund - the magazine is a donation, no costs will be taken by JSoccer.
Then please add the shipping fee - 510 yen (145 NTD) to Taiwan / 250 yen within Japan.
(Other destinations can be confirmed but 510 yen should cover costs).

You can pay your desired amount by paypal to [email protected] or to [email protected] or by ATM if you live in Taiwan by sending me an email to [email protected] with your address and the amount you would like to pay.

Of course, we will also accept straight donations to the "JSoccer Magazine Fund for Tainan" and will update you regularly on how much has been raised. Thank you!
