一緒に遊び、学び、つくる。そこから育つ、国境を越えたつながり🇯🇵🇺🇦
8月25日〜28日に開催した「IGS World Summer Days Program」では、ウクライナ🇺🇦の子どもたちを迎え、さまざまな体験を通して交流しました。
一緒に体を動かして遊んだり、同じテーブルを囲んでバッグづくりに夢中になったり。言葉や文化が違っても、同じことを楽しみ、笑い合い、力を合わせる。そんな一つひとつの時間の中で、少しずつお互いの距離が近づいていきました。
IGSが大切にしているのは、知識を得ることだけではなく、人と出会い、共に体験し、お互いから学ぶこと。「違い」を知ることから、新しい発見が生まれる。一人ひとりの個性を大切にしながら、世界に目を向け、人とつながっていく。
子どもたちにとって、世界を少し身近に感じるきっかけになっていたら嬉しく思います。
この夏に生まれた笑顔とつながりを、その日だけの思い出で終わらせず、これからへ。ウクライナの子どもたち🇺🇦とのご縁を、これからも大切に育んでいきたいと思います。

�Building connections beyond borders🇯🇵🇺🇦
IGS World Summer Days Program welcomed children from Ukraine for several days of shared experiences and international exchange.
Playing and moving together, sitting around the same table, and getting creative with tote bags each experience gave the children a chance to connect in their own way.
Even when languages and cultures are different, something special happens when children share an activity, laugh together, and work side by side. Little by little, the distance between them begins to disappear.
At IGS, we believe learning is about more than gaining knowledge. It is also about meeting people, sharing experiences, and learning from one another.
Discovering our differences can open the door to new perspectives. By valuing each child’s individuality while encouraging them to look beyond their own world, we hope to nurture curiosity, openness, and meaningful connections with others.
We hope this experience helped make the wider world feel just a little closer to each child. And we hope the smiles, friendships, and memories created this summer will be the beginning of connections that continue to grow.
We look forward to nurturing our bond with the children from Ukraine 🇺🇦 and creating more opportunities to learn and grow together.
