Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Football 5-A-Side Competition
Tokyo, Japan

Football 5-A-Side will make its fifth appearance at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo 2021.
With reigning champions Brazil and hosts Japan having already secured a place, countries from around the world will fight to obtain one of the remaining six slots at one of the 2019 Regional Championships.
American Championships
Two-time world champions, Rio 2016 bronze medallists and 2017 Copa America winners Argentina qualified after finishing second at the American Championships in June.
European Championships
Spain and France both qualify for Tokyo 2020 after reaching the European Championship Final. Spain defeated France 3-1 to collect their eighth European title.
Asian Championships
China and Iran as finalists of the Asian Championships qualified for Tokyo 2020. China retained the Asian title following a 1-0 win over Iran.
African Championships
Morocco grabbed the single football 5-a-side qualification slot available at the African Championships. The reigning African champions defeated Mali 5-1 in the final to obtain their fourth title.
