🗞️ | 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄

The family of the late Mama Agnes Malesi Ayiro wishes to inform friends, relatives and the wider Soy United fraternity that Mama will be laid to rest on Saturday, 3rd October 2026, at her Lumino home, Soy.

A requiem mass will be held tomorrow, Thursday, 1st October, at Daystar University, Athi River Main Campus, starting at 10:00 AM.

Mama will arrive at her Soy home on Friday, 2nd October, where a family and church service will subsequently be held from 2.00P.M.

We continue to uphold the family in prayer during this difficult time.

🤝 | In the Christian Holy Scriptures, Psalm 147:3 reminds us that God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. In times of grief, His comfort gives us strength and hope.

Yesterday evening, the playing unit, technical bench, support staff and management visited our Team Leader, Mr. Ayiro Edwin Chahilu, to condole with him and his family following the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs. Agnes Malesi Ayiro.

The Soy United family stood together in solidarity with our Team Leader, offering words of encouragement, comfort and prayers as he and his family navigate this difficult season.

The visit was also graced by our Club Chaplain, Pastor Dickson Liboi, alongside the Hope Impartation Church team, and Reverend Dan Mudeku from the neighbouring Ushindi PAG Church.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who continues to stand with the Ayiro family through prayers, encouragement and every form of support during this difficult time of grief.

🤳🏾 | Team Blue, captained by Joseph Wafula, emerged victorious in a high-octane in-house friendly, winning 6-5 on post-match penalties after a 1-1 stalemate in regulation time against Team Black.

Namesakes Erick Namasaka and Masafu were on target for their respective sides in normal time.

And, of course, the winners couldn't resist taking a celebratory selfie with the admin's device!
