In our last encounter, we narrowly lost 2-1.

*CLUB STATEMENT*

Not to justify our performance in the first leg, but we would like to put a few things into perspective.

This club was established this year. Over 90% of our players had never played competitive football before, not even a friendly match. They have only been training. What we have discovered is raw talent — talents that with proper tutelage will go very far.

We also took a big blow when our best players reported back to their boarding schools. It has been challenging to compete at full strength without them.

Does that mean we lose hope? Not at all.

The boys who are available are now undergoing senior-level training and the improvement is visible. The teams that have faced us in the second leg can attest to that.

Our objective this season was never to top the table. It was to build stability and prepare for next season — and we are achieving that.

To our loyal fans, we understand it's been difficult. But we assure you, we will NOT finish at the bottom of the table. We have started to take shape.

Expect wins.
