Just finished packing up the car, less than a week until we are back in San Diego!

The sun in shining on our very last day before our 1.5 year international adventure ends. We're making the most of it with a packed day in Barcelona - Sagrada Familia, paella, Parc Guell, Tibidabo and dinner with old friends.

Less than one week to go and we have found ourselves in France, time for w**e tasting!!!

When there aren't any cars and walking just won't do...

French and Moroccan Arabic are the main languages in Morocco. English is the language usually used between travelers from different nations. At dinner last night there were 2 Americans, 1 Moroccan, 2 Italians, a Belgian, and a Mexican. Can you guess what language we were speaking at this traditional Moroccan dinner?

This week started with an amazing African adventure with my family and is ending in romantic Marrakech to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Decided that since we spent 36 hours getting here, we deserved some time at the hamam (not knowing fully what that entailed) to relax and celebrate. Ended up completely exposed together with a lady scrubbing us down, which was a little more than we thought we signed up for! Meanwhile, someone was sneaking into our locker to steal $35, which after a 17 months, is the first time we have been robbed on this trip. Luckily, and probably not coincidentally, that is exactly the balance we owed for our treatments, so we didn't end up out any money. Certainly an anniversary we will never forgot!

In our first 24 hours in Zimbabwe, I found a tick on my leg, got my first ever bloody nose on a crazy white water adventure and saw double rainbows over Victoria Falls. Good times with the fam!
