Wolves boss Vitor Pereira hopes that Matheus Cunha will stay with the club - but admits the forward could get "opportunities" to move away from Molineux in the future.

Cunha got a goal and an assist against Manchester United in Wolves' 2-0 win over Ruben Amorim's side on Boxing Day - to make it 14 goal involvements in 18 matches this season.

Before the game, newspaper reports linked Cunha with a January move to Arsenal.

"I hope that he stays with us for a long time but I understand that a special player will have opportunities for sure in his career," said the Portuguese boss of Cunha.
