Every decade after the age of 30 we potentially lose 3 to 5% of muscle. Less muscle means less mobility and less strength. And that increases your risk for falls and fractures.

Research studies show the rate of muscle loss increases significantly as we enter our 60’s. Strength training doesn’t stop muscle loss as we age but it slows the rate of drop tremendously.

Everybody should be lifting weights especially women!💪
