Today, we stepped onto the pitch against Gor Mahia Queens in a tough and valuable friendly. The result wasn’t what we wanted a 5–0 defeat, with three goals coming in the first half and two in the second. But beyond the scoreline, there were many positives to take from the game.

From the first minute to the last, the girls gave everything. The effort, commitment and willingness to keep fighting showed exactly what this group is about. After recently playing Mathare United Women, getting another opportunity to test ourselves against a top-level side like Gor Mahia Queens was a huge learning experience for our young players.

One clear area we will work on is defending set pieces. We conceded from situations we need to improve on, and that gives us something specific to work on in training.

We take the lessons, we take the positives, and we keep building. Every difficult game is another step in the development of these future stars.

Another big test for our young players against one of the strongest and most recognised sides in the country, competing at National Super League level.

For our girls, this is more than just another friendly. It is an opportunity to test ourselves, challenge ourselves and learn from a highly experienced side. We know the level we are facing, and that is exactly why we want this game. We want our players to step up, compete, gain experience and see where they can improve.

At Gudush Soccer Academy , development comes first. The result is not our biggest concern. Every pass, every decision, every mistake and every challenge is part of the learning process. Tomorrow, we step onto the pitch with courage, confidence and the desire to compete.

The journey continues...Tomorrow, We Gudush Soccer Academy goes head-to-head with Mathare United Women FC in another important build-up match as we prepare for the upcoming league season.

Mathare United Women come into this game as a newly promoted side to the top tier of Kenyan women’s football the Kenya Women’s Premier League (KWPL). 👏🏾🇰🇪

We faced them last week in a match that unfortunately could not reach its conclusion. Tomorrow gives us another opportunity to compete, learn, test ourselves and continue developing our young players against a team that has earned its place among Kenya’s best.

For Gudush SoccerAcademy, it is all about the process building confidence, character, discipline and future stars.

Congratulations, St Josephs Girls Senior School, Kitale 💙

A huge congratulations to St. Joseph Girls Joga for being crowned the 2026 Kenya National Secondary School Games Football Champions! 👏🏾🏅 After a thrilling final against Nyakach Girls Secondary School, the team showed incredible resilience and character, eventually lifting the trophy after a penalty shootout. What an achievement!

We are especially proud of our own Ivy Atieno, who has been outstanding throughout the competition. From the zonal matches all the way to the national final, Ivy has played a massive role in the team's success. Your hard work, commitment, and determination continue to inspire the entire Gudush Soccer Academy family.
