Analysis of Tusker fc defensive principles that gave Afc leopards the solidary goal due to ex*****ons that didn't meet standards.
1. Poor horizontal and vertical compactness
Tusker is stretched side-to-side, thus opening central lanes easily.
2. Disconnected pressing triggers
One player steps to press but others don’t follow or cover as a result the first line gets bypassed easily. Pressing player not supported from behind and beside lacking immediate cover as a result Tusker midfielder is beaten a pass to dropping striker
3. Lack of collective shifting
A compact team should move as one block toward the ball. The ball goes right - the whole team shifts right - the ball goes central - the team compresses the middle. Here Tusker are static, gaps naturally appear. This allows a pass to third mans run Kinyanjui
4. No clear defensive reference (ball vs man vs space)
Tusker are reacting individually to Leopard's actions, instead of defending space collectively. That’s why spacing breaks.
5. Transition weakness (big one)
Look at the big distances between lines , Tusker midfield not compact and It usually starts after losing the ball because they are slow to reorganize and not collapsing centrally quickly allowing Leopard's striker to score from rebound ball.
My thinking. Football is a process and we learn daily.
Creativity in the idea ,Composure in the ex*****on & Awareness in reading the situation

It is essential for players to clearly understand not only the main defensive principles, but also the sub-principles and sub-sub-principles, as these provide the detail and clarity needed for consistent ex*****on. This understanding allows the team to function cohesively, make quick collective decisions, and maintain structure during both defending and transition phases.

A week later, and the energy from this moment still speaks.
We fought hard, stayed together, and earned a point away from home. Not the result we fully wanted, but a performance that showed character, unity, and belief.

This photo says it all.
When you give everything… when you fight for every ball… when you leave your heart on the pitch — sometimes the result still doesn’t reflect the effort.
The pain is real. The disappointment is heavy. But this is more than just a game to us. It’s pride. It’s sacrifice. It’s brotherhood.
We may have fallen today, but we did not fall without a fight. And that fight will carry us forward.
We rise again. 💪⚽
