The best way to breathe while running is to inhale & exhale using both your nose and mouth combined.

Breathing through both the mouth and the nose will keep your breathing steady & engage your diaphragm for maximum oxygen intake. It also allows you to expel CO2 quickly.

- Short answer- NO!
- Long answer – it depends on how long and how intense your run is going to be. But incase you need some fuel for your body, you can consider a snack 35 - 45 min before your run or 90 - 120 min for a small meal. Get active!
