Summary: Rejection and Betrayal
Judas Iscariot inherited betrayal from Moab the son of Lot and his eldest daughter, Paltith, who herself betrayed her father by naming her son Moab, meaning, "from my father" or "of my father". Her younger sister also betrayed her dad, Lot by naming her own son by him, Ben-Ammin, meaning "son of my kinsman". These two daughter had no mercy on their father, even if the plan to have these babies was their own idea, which makes the betrayal even painful to Lot. This family was full of betrayal. Lot himself was reaping his own betrayal of Abraham after he abandoned Abram when the two arrived near S***m. Lot ditched Abram's agenda to follow Jehovah which the two had started together in their country of origin. Betrayal did not stop there. Lot's wife betrayed Lot she refused to follow Lot and their two daughters out of S***m. Her rejection and betrayal of her own family cost her her own life when she was killed and became a pillar of salt. So what Judas did comes from a generation of betrayal in Moab's blood line, and the Holy is giving us a hint of the cause by naming Judas with his village of origin Kerioth, hoping that the reader will research and find out all about Moab and the curse of rejection & betrayal in Lot's household. Why did the sisters both name their sons with names that reveal their drunk father was the father?! This betrayal & backstabbing is the same thing Judas did to our Saviour, shedding innocent blood.
This story has many shocking sides and we can all learn a thing or two from it. But one thing is obvious: REJECTION IS GENERATIONAL. So don't do it, or your own children will be rejected by others. Instead, love and forgive even your bitter enemies.
Remember, God Jehovah Ya'aspani is always on the side of those who are rejected, to elevate them. Shame and destruction awaits those who play rejection games with other people....it never ends well with them.
Just a thought to conclude this topic for now.
Shalom.

To understand Judas Iscariot's opposition and rejection of Christ, here is a scoop of historical data....Judas has Moabite roots. Moab was the son of drunk Lot when he slept with his own daughter. The Moabites were always hostile to God, since they worshipped Chemosh, a cult god that has a bad history of itself....
