CAVB Inspection Mission Concludes in Kinshasa Ahead of 2026 Men’s African Volleyball Championship
​The Confédération Africaine de Volleyball (CAVB) has officially completed its prospecting mission in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. This vital visit ensures that all technical and logistical requirements are met for the upcoming 2026 Seniors Men’s Volleyball African Nations Cup (CAN).
​The delegation, led by Mr. Christian Matata (President of the Congo Volleyball Federation), Mr. Boulami Brahim (General Director of the CAVB), and Mr. Otieno Walter (CAVB Competitions Manager), conducted a comprehensive tour of the infrastructure designated for both training and official play.
​Key Sites Inspected:
​Training Venues: The Congolese National Police Gymnasium, Mabusa Stadium, and the Tata Raphaël Gymnasium were evaluated for their readiness to host elite preparation sessions.
​Competition Hub: The mission concluded at the Twin Gymnasium of the Martyrs Stadium, the flagship venue that will serve as the primary stage for the tournament’s official matches.
