Empowering women through education, innovation, and design in Nairobi, Kenya.

Through innovation, education, and design, Jimani Collections exists to transform and expand access to economic opportunity for artisans in underserved communities worldwide. We work with some of the poorest in the world - women who have experienced a harsh reality that few can imagine. Through structured training programs, we offer these women employment and education within product design and product creation. By building a bridge between consumers and artisans, we are able to promote equitable trade while alleviating widespread poverty.

After launching our Beauty & Hairdressing Program and watching graduates successfully enter the workforce, a new question emerged, how could we create even more opportunities for women?

This week, the Jimani Salon officially opened its doors in Nairobi. A place for learning, growth, employment, and possibility. We are grateful for the local leaders who saw the need, imagined a solution, and helped make this dream a reality.
