The FIFA U17 Women's World Cup kicks off today in the Dominican Republic, marking a historic moment for Kenya as the Harambee Junior Starlets make their debut in a FIFA world Cup. This is the first time any Kenyan football team has qualified for a FIFA organized event.
Junior Starlets have been drawn into Group C, where they will face tough competition against England, North Korea, and Mexico.

Jamhuri Bulls got their goals through Julio Odhiambo 1, Abdikadir Mohamed 1 and Boniface Lavisa 1.
