Some institutions open their doors to change. Some individuals become the face of it.
A heartfelt thank you to USIU-Africa for partnering with us and providing a space where lives could be impacted, and to Debbie Issa, Miss Eco Humanitarian USIU, whose dedication, advocacy and enthusiasm shone throughout the entire campaign.
Together, you helped turn a vision into action.

Success is never achieved by one person, it takes a dedicated team.

As we conclude our three-day Blood Drive and Sickle Cell Screening, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who made it possible. To our movers who ensured every activity ran smoothly, our genetic counsellors who offered guidance and support and our doctors who generously shared their expertise during the screenings, thank you.

Your dedication, professionalism and selfless service touched many lives. Because of you, our community received not only healthcare services but also hope, education and encouragement.

Thank you for standing with us in creating healthier communities. We appreciate each one of you.

Today marks the final day of our Blood Donation Drive and Sickle Cell Screening at USIU, and we're ending it with the same passion, purpose and hope we started with.
Every donor, every person screened, every conversation shared has brought us one step closer to a healthier future for our communities.
To everyone who has stopped by, donated, volunteered or simply spread the word thank you for choosing to make a difference. Together, we've shown that small acts of kindness can save lives.
Your blood is someone's second chance. Your awareness is someone's hope.

One of the biggest highlights of the day was our lead mobilizer a USIU student and a true Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) warrior. Their passion, resilience and commitment to the cause inspired everyone around them, reminding us that real champions don't just speak about change they lead it.
We're not done yet! Join us tomorrow for the blood drive. Come donate, learn and be part of a movement that gives hope and saves lives. See you there!
