The League and Competitions Committee under Kass Kass has once again delivered another masterpiece of confusion by deciding Mara Sugar should surrender home advantage because… away fans may attend in large numbers?

Since when were fixtures designed for fans?

A football match is not a roadshow where everyone in the country must fit into one stadium. Clubs are allowed to admit the number of fans they can comfortably and safely host. Simple.

FKF believes

* Small clubs should never host big clubs
* Away teams should choose venues they like
* Home advantage should now be approved by opponents first

At this rate Arsenal would demand their match against Crystal Palace be moved from the 25K seater Selhurst Park to Wembley Stadium.

Football was never designed to make away teams comfortable.

But amid all this chaos, Mara Sugar CEO has stood firm like a woman of steel. While Hussein and his 9 babies are busy holding boardroom wrestling matches and collecting signatures, she has calmly reminded everyone that a club earning promotion also earns the right to host matches at a home of its choice

FKF needs less politics and more common sense for football in this country too improve.
