Nairobi Hospice held its first Caregivers Circle — a safe space created for the people who carry so much, often in silence.
In palliative care, caregivers are not on the sidelines. They are part of the care journey.
Our first Caregivers Circle gave caregivers a space to pause, share, reflect, learn and feel supported. It reminded us that those who care also need care.
Through these monthly sessions, Nairobi Hospice hopes to create a consistent space for:
• Emotional release and safe sharing
• Practical learning and coping tools
• Grief processing
• Communication with patients
• Self-care and caregiver wellbeing
• Community, connection and support
To every caregiver walking this difficult but deeply meaningful journey: you are seen, you are valued, and you do not have to walk alone.
If you would like to support the Caregivers Circle through in-kind donations, skills, facilitation, refreshments, materials or cash support, please reach us on:

Behind every patient is a caregiver giving strength, love, and hope. ❤️
They are the quiet heroes who show up every day — offering comfort during difficult moments.
Today, we honor and appreciate every caregiver walking beside their loved ones with compassion, courage, and unwavering support.
