Our partner academy in Kenya came all the way to Spain for high level Training sessions, new standards, and a professional environment that demanded focus and discipline from start to finish.

The Nakuru City players were exposed to a different rhythm of the game, one that challenges habits and sharpens understanding.

This wasn’t about sightseeing. It was about work, learning, and seeing football from a wider lens.

After two intense games, New Hera Africa All Stars sits top of Group C on four points, level with Rayo Vallecano. Getafe International “B” and Nastic Sports Academy follow with one point each.

A tight group with everything still to play for, but the boys have put themselves in a strong position heading into the final matchday.

Focus stays the same, compete, learn, and keep pushing.

The New Hera Africa All Stars stepped into their first two games of the Cruyff Tournament with real character against some of Spain’s most respected youth systems.

✅ 2–1 win over Getafe International “B”
🤝🏾 1–1 draw against Rayo Vallecano

Two matches that showed discipline, personality, and the ability to compete against strong European academies. More importantly, the players grew with every minute on the pitch, exactly what the New Hera International Experience trip is about.

A good start, but the journey continues.

The New Hera Africa All Stars safely arrived in Barcelona and went straight into their first session at Futbol Salou. Good intensity, good focus and a smooth transition into the Cruyff environment.

Our boys have settled in quickly, shaking off the travel and getting their rhythm ahead of a big weekend. The group draws have been made and our All Stars team will be going up against Rayo Vallecano, Getafe International “B” and NSA.

A strong challenge, but exactly the kind of platform this experience is built for.

New Hera is proud to announce the official squad and staff travelling to Barcelona, Spain for the 2025 Cruyff Football Tournament.

During the Chipkizi Cup tournament, we scouted and selected top-performing players for this pathway. Today, we proudly present a group representing Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Sierra Leone, united under one badge and one mission.

These boys earned their place through the Chipkizi Cup selections and our development pathway, and now they get the chance to train, learn and compete on a global stage.

In collaboration with our partners FTBLR and Football Forward, we ensured real pathways:

✅ Best player offered trial with Football Forward in Spain + full sponsorship for the Cruyff Tournament.

✅ 2nd Best player will be fully sponsored for the Cruyff Tournament in Spain.
