Dear friends of Mr. Serge and Lucy Dudko community,
Today I want to share a very personal archive with you.
This is a video from 1988. My Lucy was only sixteen years old at the time.
The footage shows her registering for the first official beauty contest in the Soviet Union together with many other girls.
The girls are filling out forms and going through the preliminary (confirmation) commission. This is exactly the moment captured on film.
Lucy was among them.
She completed the registration, passed the commission, and moved forward.
Even through the old video quality you can see how beautiful, alive and real she was.
I look at that young girl and feel enormous pride.
She is the one who became my wife.
