Bad bad bad
πββοΈ Todayβs run was tough π’ I planned for 10-11 km but only managed 5 km due to the extreme heat. Running indoors with no AC and no fan is almost impossible for me.
After this run, I did 45 minutes Abs training.
I plan to run outside on Thursday. I really hope it will be easier with the breeze and occasional rain.

π₯π₯ Food update π₯π₯
Training hard for my upcoming semi-marathon! Today is treat day, so I indulged in some delicious samosas, but I'm still keeping it clean. My meals today included a fresh salad with Thai basil, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and a bit of salmon and a chicken egg for that protein boost.
As a pescatarian, I occasionally enjoy fish to meet my protein needs, especially since I'm training daily with 3 to 4 runs a week and strength workouts.
Sticking to natural, nutrient-rich foods to fuel my body for the best performance!
Stay tuned for more updates on my journey!

Iβve decided to pause teaching yoga for a little while to focus on myself. For the past two and a half months, Iβve been training regularly with weights, functional and HIIT workouts, and some running. Just yesterday, I surprised myself by signing up for a half marathon in August β my birthday challenge as I turn 52 on May 29!
Today was my first official run for the half marathon training. I planned to run 11 km but stopped at 8 because I wasnβt feeling my best. Even so, I pushed through the laziness and felt amazing afterward.
Iβm excited to share this new journey with you, so Iβll be posting updates as I prepare for race day. Thanks for your support β stay tuned!

Japa (Sanskrit) means "repetition" β specifically, the repetitive chanting or recitation of a mantra or a sacred name. Itβs a spiritual practice used in yoga, Hinduism, and other Indian traditions to calm the mind, focus awareness, and connect with the Divine.
Main Aspects :
1. Spiritual Purpose:
- Helps quiet the mind and cultivate concentration.
- Elevates consciousness and deepens meditation.
- Creates a sacred rhythm that anchors you in the present moment.
2. Mala (Prayer Beads):
- A mala is used to count the repetitions usually 108 beads.
3.Benefits of Japa:
- Calms mental chatter and emotional turbulence.
- Deepens focus and devotion.
- Can lead to profound states of meditation and inner peace.
Japa combines sound, intention, breath, and presence. Focus on the heart chakra. It becomes very powerful when it reaches the Pranic Level (vital energy). It's accessible to anyone and can become a deeply nourishing daily ritual.
Do you already practice Japa in your meditation or yoga routine?
