Second trail run on Jeju. I was ready for more mud and was amazed how ppl didn’t want to get muddy…like why sign up for a trail run if you aren’t ready to get dirty.
Growing up running I know you have to run your own race and yet today I had to talk that into being yet again. Funny how some things in life circle around and around. But the good thing is with time and effort it doesn’t take as long to get back on track.
Thankful I can still enjoy a 10k with beautiful people in amazing places.
The last slide is from last year and some Korean YouTuber that was documenting her race and I got to be a witness. Kinda fun.

Olle 9. It’s been awhile since I’ve done an Olle and this one was a great one to get back to it. Weather was spot on for all the hill climbing, found some watering holes to check out this summer and it never disappoints all the fun things you see along the way.

Winter break spent in So Cal and Colorado. Great to see most of the fam but never enough time. Enjoyed a quick catchup with the older nieces and nephews and the baby cuddles and creative time with the 4 yr old was a delight. Road trip with lil bro and great ski day at Vail was good for the soul. Time with my parents in Denver was lovely and thankful for their willingness to check out Casa Bonita for old times sake. Eating Mexican and talking for hours is always a joy with Steph. Need to make it home more often is the take away.

Grandma Geidel- she lived long and loved well.
I’m thankful to be a witness to her unwavering faith and she’d remind me that God’s got it so I lean into that.
I’ll cherish all the items that were made by her hands and will think of her often when I have a needle and thread in mine.
My love of flowers is shared with her and when I see gladiolus she is the first one I think of as they were her favorite.
It’ll be sweet to see her written recipes and make more of what she starred as her favorites as she has good taste.
I love you, Grandma and thanks for the example of living life well loving others.

in Seoul. A different kind of experience from seeing them at Red Rocks, in Luxembourg and Bangkok. I like to move and having to be in my seat the whole time was a struggle😆. Show was great non the less and enjoy the lyrics that are part of my life’s anthem. Thanks for coming with me

Ella, Sri Lanka. Beautiful hikes, clear night skies with the brightest stars I’ve ever witnessed and a tea tour. Experienced some little leeches hitching a ride, went thru the process of making our own tea and finally on the third try got a bike I felt comfortable riding long distances on.

Wandered around a little part of Kunming due to a long layover. Love all the old chippy paint, wood work and tea shops. Thankful for the lovely weather and beautiful sites.

Quick trip to Seoul to see .chang and wander some back streets. I so appreciate friendships that can pick right up no matter how long it’s been since we’ve seen each other or chatted.

The shock of actually catching a fish with my hands, what a good day😆. A beautiful day to enjoy the festival, work a tiny bit in the sunshine and enjoy a sunset walk. Thanks .s.reed for being part of it.

Enjoyed a bike ride this morning. Went on some back roads that I knew were there but haven’t been on yet. The dolphins were having a great time today in Sagye. Also special to see a couple Haenyeo diving beside them. Took a drive to find some fall colors but only found some more beautiful views. And anyone else getting their planners/journals ready for the new year?

Another 10k in the books. The wind really helped or it wasn’t measured right as my time wasn’t too bad😆. Thankful my achilles and hip pain didn’t flare up until the end.
