Always fun to take our metal castanets out into the wild for some Bacchanale. Ending up using the small model for the softer dynamic sections and the large model for the ending to help make things more exciting.

New Year, new ideas! Playing around with some new tambourine shell ideas to help speed up head changes. Natural skin on the composite shells took almost 24+ hours to dry. Trying out some various wood inlays to help speed up the bond and dry time.

A few Tambeerine shakers for your viewing pleasure. My first novelty instrument. Beer can shakers have been done before, but why not add tambourine jingles for a little extra fun? Old steel cans from the 1960s and 70s not only sound amazing, but they're also super sturdy. As a bonus, a little thumb nut conveniently allows you to turn the jingles on and off as desired. Cheers! 🍺

Introducing our newest product! Maple Piccolo Woodblocks.
These produce a great high chirp for any repertoire that requires piccolo woodblocks such as Marimba Spiritual and other modern works. They are also a great alternative for Japanese Mokusho blocks. Besides a few new tweaks, these are based on Michael Udow's original piccolo woodblock design. We recently acquired the rights to produce these again. All blocks include 4 rubber feet to help increase projection and resonance.
