Discover the balance and efficiency of sidemount scuba diving with your BeeDivers Diving . Many divers find sidemount tanks are more comfortable and easier to put on in the water. Sidemount diving is also beneficial for divers who want improved balance and prolonged dives. First, you’ll make a confined water dive to become familiar with sidemount diving equipment. We will also teach you sidemount diving skills including: frog kicking, attaching and removing scuba tanks as you enter and exit the water, unclipping a scuba tank and swimming with the tank in front of you, and how to switch second stages and manage your breathing gas when wearing two scuba tanks. After your confined water dives, we are heading to open water where you will make four dives, usually over two days .

🇺🇸The term confined water is used to describe a dive site at which the environment is entirely predictable and controlled. This includes acceptable visibility for the planned dive, a calm surface and an absence of strong current. Confined water sites should have easy entry and exit points .The most common example of a confined water dive site is a swimming pool. Other typical confined water locations include a calm bay, a lake or even a man-made quarry.Confined water sites are used for skill practice and training, for testing out new dive gear, or for novice divers who would like to play in an easy environment before heading to open water .
