ENJOYING THE GAME WITHOUT CENTERING FOCUS ON GOAL SCORING:
Boca soccer schools ensure that all students fully enjoy and benefit from engaging in the game without the pressure of having to score a goal. As a first step, our team organizes the field in a classroom- like environment to foster learning with ease where the standard of order, joy and fun are maintained. Next, adequately planning is established which covers an annual work plans consisting of a periodization of each basic football concept in respect to the child's age. This will provide us with the relevant data needed to support and carry out a pedagogical process according to the child's growth needs. Our team also understands that learning consists in a slow, gradual and complex assimilation process in which the child must establish an intense mental activity to allow easy assimilation and comprehension of the content by means of carefully selected methodological activities which have been included into a long term plan. Understanding the difficulty involved with slow process of learning, we strive to connect with each child on a daily basis, building confidence and positive reinforcement, ensuring that there are no failures but promoting an atmosphere where joy, constant improvements and possibility of achievement prevails. THE FOUNDATION:
Football, an incredible sport which was first introduced by the Englishmen to the River Plate banks at the middle of the 19th century. It was first played by sailors in the open fields near the ports, and suddenly the sport began to take a stronghold of interest in the heart of men born in South American in an overwhelming way. Five young men, Santiago Sana, Alfredo Scarpatti, Esteban Baglietto, and the brothers Juan and Teodoro Farenga shared the game, the friendship and their belonging to the Xeneixe neighbourhood (Genoese) of “ La Boca de Riachuelo” mostly inhabited by Italian immigrants from Genoa. On a certain day, they decided to get toghether with some of their friends to define their most important issues. They met at Baglietto’s home, but unexpected visitors forced them to change their meeting place and they chose the park in front of Plaza Solis. Therefore, on a bench of the Solis Square, on April 3, 1905, the five friends together with some other young men, signed the fundation instrument of the new football club. THE NAME:
Upon signing the foundation document, there was an important detail to consider, which was to identify a name for the brand new institute. In those days, it was customary to use the club’s location as its basic name and consequently, Boca was easily accepted. “ Juniors” was attached to it, in relation to the youth members .
………………………………………………. THE COLOURS:
All of them agreed to his suggestion and that was how fate determined that the blue and gold colours of the Swedish flag that first surfaced before any other, were to be colors that would identify Boca worldwide from 1907 onwards.
…………………………………………………………………. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
"La Boca del Riachuelo" (later known as La Boca) was the place where Pedro de Mendoza founded the first city of Bueno Aires in 1536, which was afterwards destroyed, according to history. It was a low land area, frequently flooded, and ignored as a shanty town, though used as a port. Thank to its economic developments that initiated the establishments of activities such as ware housing, meat salting plant, shipyards, and naval dockyards. This development led to the economic booming of the area that attracted the European immigrants especially the Genoese who were used to life by the sea, opt for seeking better lives and job opportunities. They built humble dwellings on plies and zinc plates with bright colors, with a boat hanging at the entrance, because they were forced to move around their homes rowing by the river. They also brought their dialect with (Xeneixe). That was how this area has acquired its unique characteristics appearance, which has been preserved until this present day. The place where Boca Juniors club is located has become one of the frequently visited area included the Buenos Aires city – tours. LA BOMBONERA
La Bombonera is a stadium located in the La Boca district of Buenos Aires. The stadium is owned by Boca Juniors. It is widely known as La Bombonera (the Candy or Chocolate Box) due to its shape, with a "flat" stand on one side of the pitch and three steep stands round the rest of the stadium. The stadium is so unique that there is not and will never be any other like the Candy –Box stadium. La Bombonera is renowned for its unique and unusual shape and led to it having excellent acoustics and vibration when fans start to jump in rhythm. There are two versions regarding the origin of its name. One of the them refers to the fact that a Yugoslavian architect Victorio Sulvic received a candy box as a present, which was very similar to the stadium he was designing, and from that moment referred to the new stadium as "The Candy Box". The other made mention of an Engineer called Jose Luis Delphini, who at the time of building an ideal pitch, severed the surface extending over the adjacent –owned land. The result was a stage similar to the so called "Candy" carts used by the sweepers to clan the streets at the time. LA 12TH PLAYER:
La 12th player also known as "La Doce" (the 12th man) is the name given to the extreme enthusiastic supporters club and fans of the Boca Juniors team. If there is any group of fans in the world capable of stirring its fans and supporters to motivate and encourage the players and at most times able to change the course of the game in their favor, look no further than the Boca fans. They are admired worldwide and in Argentina for the unique strength and the intensity of their support. Simply known as "Player No12”
