Salim A. Salaam Challenge Cup

Welcome to the Salim A. Salaam Challenge Cup! It was first played in 1970.

The Salim Ali Salaam Challenge Cup was established by friends of Salim and Maha Salaam to celebrate their wedding in 1969. It is an annual greensome golf competition played at the Golf Club of Lebanon, based on a net score basis. After the passing of Maha in 2012, their children established the Maha Salaam Prize, on a gross score basis, as part of the competition, to commemorate her lifelong efforts with Salim to preserve the Golf Club of Lebanon and the game of golf in Lebanon.
