This Thursday, we spotlight one of Saint Lucia’s brightest young athletes making waves across the Caribbean.
Sapphire Parks has been dominating the pool from a very young age, building an impressive record of performances and achievements that place her among the region’s top young swimmers.
At the CARIFTA Championships, she delivered an outstanding performance, capturing 10 medals and securing the High Point Trophy in her category for the second consecutive year — a true mark of excellence.
With multiple national records and consistent success at regional competitions, Sapphire continues to raise the bar and inspire a new generation of athletes.
✨ Tune in Thursday at 3:00 PM on RCI 101.1FM for Youth Unplugged as we hear from this young champion — her journey, her mindset, and what drives her success.

Staying inspired and informed !!
In the ever-evolving world of competitive swimming, keeping our swimmers and parents up to date is not just important—it’s essential. From new motivational times and updated swim standards to shifting performance benchmarks, knowledge empowers growth.
When everyone is aware of current goals and expectations, it creates a unified vision. Swimmers are more focused, parents are more supportive, and progress becomes measurable and meaningful.
Let’s continue to communicate, educate, and elevate—because excellence in the pool starts with clarity outside of it. 🤗
