Welcome to the Official Page of “Dharmasoka College Old Boys' Chess Association”.

The Old Boys’ Chess Association of Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda is organizing the Dhamso International Chess Festival, an Internationally Rated open chess Event for the tenth time in collaboration with the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka and FIDE, with a total prize of nearly Rs 400,000/- in cash awards. The Event Will be played according to the Swiss System and 10 Rounds from 17th April to 21st April 2020 at Sea Breeze Hotel, Ambalangoda.

We are immensely proud to announce that WFM M. Esandi Newansa has emerged as the Women’s National Chess Champion at the 2025 Women’s National Chess Championship!

She becomes the second Women’s National Champion produced by Mother Dhamso, following in the footsteps of CM Sayuni Gihansa Jayaweera — a proud moment for the Dharmasoka chess legacy.
